Ensenada Day Four

The day started in the usual way with 7:00am prayer, 8:00 breakfast and cleanup chores and then to the home site. The home is well on it's way. Exterior and interior walls are up, wiring installed, roof almost done and sheet rock installed throughout. Each day presents itself with more opportunities to see more of the surrounding areas. Rich and Karen went with Pastor Reynario, Ben (one of the missionary interns), and Sammy who aided in translation, to meet with a family in "Luise Mercado". They brought milk and fresh pastries, a treat rarely enjoyed by the family they visited The experience was greatly moving for them as they got a first hand look at the daily challenges that face many of these people! There are 12 people living in a two room home, and as you can only imagine the despair they face. Please hold James, Claudia (who is with child), Fernanda and Ildefanso. and their families up in prayer.

Several of the team members went to the beach and experienced a cold plunge into the Pacific Ocean.  Dinner was fish Tacos, rice and fresh salsa. We were told the Tacos had their beginnings right in Ensenada.
