Ways to Serve Regionally

Wissinoming (Philadelphia) Service Project — May 21st
We will head over the Tacony Palmyra bridge into Wissinoming to work alongside our sister church, True Vine Church Community, for a neighborhood spring cleaning day. We will break up into teams and head out into the immediate neighborhood to pick up litter, maybe paint a few things, and simply visit with people who need the Lord. Children mature enough to stay with their parents are also invited to participate. We will meet at FAC at 9:00am. For those that can stay we will work until around 2:00pm. Pizza or sandwiches will be provided for lunch. If you would like to join us, please sign up online.

Urban Promise Service Project — June 11th
On June 11th we will be taking a team of people down to the edge of Camden to work on the Urban Promise Campus. If you’ve never been there, this is a great opportunity to see all that Urban Promise does, the safe environment in which they operate, and lend a hand.
During the day you will be involved in a level that is comfortable for your skill level. Basically you can mow a lawn, paint, clean, do basic construction, help with snacks, etc. This is a great chance for your family (children, 10 years and up) or Mini-church to serve together.
Urban Promise tries to keep their expenses low. With that in mind, all of the man hours that we can put in taking care of the Urban Promise campus saves them thousands of dollars every year that can be spent on ministry rather than facilities. Children 10 and up are invited to participate with their family.
We will meet at the church at 8:30am and return around lunch time.
If you would like to join us, please contact Jim Entwistle at jim.entwistle@faconline.org for more information.

Feeding 5000
Every Saturday Feeding 5000 meets at Fellowship Alliance to assemble over 100 bagged lunches. Then we carpool over to Philly and deliver food, prayer, and friendship to the homeless and hurting.
If you would like to join us, please contact the group at Feeding5000@comcast.net for more information.

My Father’s Hand
One Saturday morning a month we take a group down to Camden to prepare a pancake breakfast to serve to homeless men and women. During the breakfast we are able to sit, listen, and pray with these hurting folks.
If you or a group would like to participate, please contact Pastor Jim Entwistle at jim.entwistle@faconline.org for more information.
