On September 17th we will be taking a team of people down to the edge of Camden to work on the Urban Promise Campus. If you’ve never been there, this is a great opportunity to see all that Urban Promise does, the safe environment in which they operate, and lend a hand.
During the day you will be involved in a level that is comfortable for your skill level. Basically you can paint, clean, do basic construction, help with snacks, etc. This is a great chance for your family (children,10 years and up) or Mini-church to serve together.
Urban Promise tries to keep their expenses low. With that in mind, all of the ―man hours‖ that we can put in taking care of the Urban Promise campus saves them thousands of dollars every year that can be spent on ministry rather than facilities.
We will meet at the church at 8:00am and return in the early afternoon.
